About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Washington (LF61342187) and the State of Oregon (T2496). I am a Certified Sex Therapist (CST) with the American Association for Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). I earned my Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Seattle Pacific University in 2020 and have been working with clients since January 2019.

I was raised in the Pacific Northwest and have lived in Seattle since 2003. My previous career spanned 11 years in Healthcare Administration - long term care, hospice, and occupational medicine.

In the spring and summer, I am a native plant fanatic and prefer spending my days either doing yardwork or sitting in the shade reading and throwing the ball for my dog. Come winter, I am diving into food science, cooking, baking and riffing on my favorite food author's (Allison Roman) cookbooks. Year round, my husband and I make lists of home improvement projects and slowly realize our dreams inside and out. Weekly dinners with close friends is a must!

I recognize that I live and practice my profession on the indigenous land stolen from the Duwamish tribe, and that they continue to be refused federal recognition - leaving all members since the 1850's without repayment for their land to date. I make a monthly financial contribution as a part of the Real Rent Duwamish project of the greater Seattle area and am committed to being an ally by voting and tangible involvement in my neighborhood and city.

I am affirming of the Black Lives Matter movement and strive to serve as an ally to clients who are marginalized - Black, Indigenous, LGBTQAI+, gender non-conforming and those of various religious or spiritual beliefs. At this time, all sessions are being offered via Telehealth.

I value honesty, mindfulness, and enjoy having an easy manner in my practice. It is my hope that I will bring a sense of connection, generosity, ease, worth and clarity to my client’s lives.

Being a Therapist is my Passion

As a natural trailblazer, I seek both freedom and the chance to bring healing to many. I experience my work as a therapist as an opportunity to reflect on my own life while mastering the theories and details for my clients' curated experiences.

More importantly, I'm privileged to observe my clients' lives, learn from their discoveries, and reflect their growth back to them—an enriching experience for both of us!

If you are considering working with me, I am honored.

In an effort to support my passion with true expertise and community, I have pursued the following trainings and obtained the following certifications:

The Developmental Model of Couples Therapy

Think Differentiation meets Attachment Theory with a bit of Neuroscience mixed in. We cannot have one without the others and I will show you how to notice and grow in each way.

I am a Graduate of The Developmental Model of Couples Therapy Training under Ellyn Bader Ph.D. at The Couples Institute
